Marcos Iglesias — Staff Frontend Engineer
I build frontend products and the foundations that help teams deliver them. My work combines hands-on engineering, architecture, and design systems with technical strategy and mentoring.
At Puzzle, VEED, Lyft, and Eventbrite, I’ve helped teams modernize complex applications, ship new workflows, and improve product performance and consistency.

How I work
Technical direction that reaches production
I turn product and engineering needs into architecture decisions, written proposals, and staged delivery plans, then help implement them. At Puzzle, I aligned teams through RFCs and a frontend ownership model.
Shared foundations grounded in product needs
I build accessible components, improve application performance, and introduce quality checks that support consistent delivery.
AI in practice
At Puzzle, I introduced AI-assisted engineering workflows for maintenance and documentation. At VEED, I helped lead an AI-powered product workflow from proof of concept to MVP.
Stronger engineers and clearer collaboration
I mentor engineers, review code, and work across Product, Design, and Engineering to align teams around decisions and outcomes. At VEED, I mentored six engineers, helping four earn promotions.
Open source and writing
